In addition to his own compositions, he is also the keyboardist for the Dutch indie pop band Handsome Poets (known for hits like Sky On Fire and Dance The War Is Over). However, through his solo work, he follows a distinctly different path. Constantly experimenting, he has, in recent years, discovered his own unique voice — one shaped by elements of film scores, classical traditions, and pop/indie influences, always in deliberate pursuit of the piano’s inherent melancholy.
